Released in January of 2008 "Smiley Face" is an instant stoner must see. Starring Hollywood Hottie Anna Farris, most notably of the Scary Movie series and marijuana movie mainstays Danny Masterson (Puff Puff Pass) and John Cho (Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle). Farris is brilliant as the pot smoking, slacker Jane, giving a curiously realistic performance of a stoner out of control.

The day starts normally for Jane, a 9 a.m. bowl and video games, but things quickly get out of hand after the clueless pot whore mistakenly consumes a whole plate of pot cupcakes. Stoned out of her mind, what ensures next is a wild ride of comedy, hi-jinx, and tragedy (well she does destroy an "O" trying to make cannibutter while high).

Farris is at her comedic best combining her girl-next-door cuteness, with true Pot Head insight to puff, toke and exhale her way to Cannabis History. No woman has ever given such a riveting, convincing and hilarious portrayal of a Stoner. It is with great respect that we give this flick 4 Spliffs with a minor deduction for the painful destruction of the cannabutter, and the torturous flushing of "The Government Weed".
